3. Download
Everything happens inside your browser, so your pictures are never uploaded to us or anyone else. For the best result, put the paper on a darker, plain surface, use good light, and hold the phone straight above it. The scanner makes pictures of your pages, not searchable text, so you cannot copy words out of the PDF. If a photo will not open (some iPhone HEIC photos), take it again with the camera button or set the camera to "Most Compatible". Do not scan documents you have no right to copy, and keep your original papers.
