Fundpeeps Maths Solver

Enter a problem and get the answer with a full step-by-step solution — not just the result. Everything runs in your browser except the photo tab.

About this tool

Maths Solver takes a problem and shows the answer with a step-by-step solution, so you can see how it was reached instead of only the final number. It is designed for homework help and for checking your own working.

You can type the problem in. There is also a photo option for problems printed or written on paper. For typed problems the work is done on your device. If you use the photo option, the picture is resized in your browser, then sent through our server to Google Gemini service to read the text, and we do not keep it. Avoid photos that show personal information.

How to use it

  1. Type your problem into the box, for example an equation or an expression.
  2. Or use the photo tab to take or upload a picture of the problem.
  3. Press solve and wait for the answer.
  4. Read each step. Try to follow the reasoning, and then solve a similar problem yourself.

Example

You type 2x + 6 = 14. The solver shows: subtract 6 from both sides to get 2x = 8, then divide both sides by 2 to get x = 4. Seeing the steps lets you apply the same method to the next question.

Tips

  • Use the steps to learn, then try a similar question without help.
  • Check the problem was read correctly, especially after using a photo.
  • Write brackets clearly in typed problems, for example 2(x + 3) rather than 2x + 3.
