Our PDF to Word tool extracts the text layer of a PDF and rebuilds it as paragraphs — it does not run OCR and does not preserve images, tables, columns, or exact fonts. For text-heavy PDFs it works well; for complex layouts, some manual cleanup in Word may be needed.

This usually means the PDF is a scanned image with no selectable text layer. Since we don't run OCR, there's no text for the tool to extract.

Mostly, but not perfectly. The conversion renders your HTML to a canvas snapshot rather than using a full print engine, so advanced layout features like CSS columns or some @media print rules may not carry over exactly.

Because processing happens in your own browser, the practical limit depends on your device's available memory rather than a fixed cap we impose. Very large files may be slower on lower-powered devices.
