Make a video small enough to send on WhatsApp, or turn a clip into a GIF. It all happens on your phone or computer. Your video is never uploaded.
Everything is done inside your browser, so your video is never uploaded to us or anyone else. Keep this tab open and in front while it works, because browsers slow down hidden tabs. Compressing takes about as long as the video itself, sometimes longer on older phones. Smaller files always lose some picture quality, so play the result before you send it and keep your original. WhatsApp usually limits videos sent from your gallery to about 16 MB, and Status clips have a length limit that can change, so trim the clip first. Some phone videos (for example HEVC or H.265 .mov files) do not open in every browser; if yours will not load, try Safari or the latest Chrome. Only use videos you have the right to share.
