Everything is converted locally in your browser. Your text is never sent anywhere. Title Case keeps small words (of, the, and, to…) lowercase except at the start and end. Title and Sentence case lowercase the text first, so names and acronyms need re-capitalising (or tick "Keep ALL-CAPS words"). The code cases treat each run of letters and numbers as a word and ignore punctuation.
Case Converter changes the capital letters in a piece of text in one click. Turn a block of capitals into normal sentences, make a heading Title Case, or force everything to lowercase before you paste it somewhere else.
It saves the tedious job of retyping text that was typed with Caps Lock on, or tidying a list of names or headings.
A friend sends you a long paragraph written entirely in capitals. Paste it in, choose Sentence case, and you get normal sentences that start with a capital letter. Then quickly fix any names or abbreviations that should stay in capitals.
Title Case capitalises the main words in a heading. Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence, and proper names.
