Your photo is processed on your own device. Fundpeeps never sees or stores it. Very large photos are scaled down to 2560 pixels on the longest side so the editor stays fast.

Tips for a clean cutout

The edges look rough or there's a light outline

Click Shrink once or twice to trim the halo, then Smooth to round off jagged edges. Use the Restore brush to bring back anything that was cut by mistake.

Part of the background is still there

Use the Magic wand and click the leftover area (raise Tolerance to catch similar shades), or paint over it with the Erase brush. Zoom in for fine work.

Which format should I choose?

PNG keeps the transparent background and is best for logos, products and graphics. JPG gives smaller files but has no transparency, so it uses your chosen background colour (white if none).

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The cutout is calculated inside your browser. The only thing downloaded is the tool itself and, for AI cutout, a one-time model file that your browser remembers.
