Key Responsibilities
As a Subsea Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient drilling and well intervention operations. Your duties will include:
- Providing expert engineering advice to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Coordinating subsea equipment operations and risk assessments
- Overseeing subsea drilling, completion, and intervention processes
- Managing communication between teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Supporting troubleshooting and performance optimization of subsea systems
Core Duties
- Interface with subsea equipment such as wellheads, BOPs, and intervention tools
- Lead surface integrity testing (SIT), factory acceptance tests (FAT/EFAT)
- Develop procedures for subsea equipment deployment and retrieval
- Monitor service providers and ensure project efficiency
- Support project management and resolve technical issues in real-time
Requirements & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Strong experience in subsea drilling, completions, or well intervention
- Deep understanding of offshore systems like semi-submersibles and jack-ups
- Knowledge of subsea systems, hydraulic modeling, and flow assurance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
