VeryDarkMan Blasts Sowore Over Move to Secure BLord’s Release
Social media critic VeryDarkMan has openly challenged human rights activist Omoyele Sowore over his promise to intervene in the ongoing legal case involving businessman BLord.
The controversy follows the reported detention of BLord, who was remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre over allegations linked to impersonation and defamation. According to reports, the entrepreneur is expected to remain in custody for several days pending further legal proceedings. (GistReel)
Reacting to the development, Sowore had earlier taken to social media to criticize what he described as the public celebration of BLord’s incarceration. He further pledged to ensure the discontinuation of the case and secure the businessman’s release, insisting that imprisonment should not be seen as a victory for justice. (Western Post)
However, VeryDarkMan strongly opposed Sowore’s stance, daring him to follow through on his intentions. In a viral reaction, he questioned Sowore’s authority to influence the case and warned him against interfering.
“I dare you to discontinue the case… I want to see who you are,” he said, while insisting that the legal action against BLord should proceed without external interference. (GistReel)
VeryDarkMan also used the opportunity to restate allegations against BLord, claiming the businessman falsely used his identity and image for promotional activities, including alleged endorsements and misleading claims involving large financial transactions. (GistReel)
The unfolding dispute has since sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many Nigerians divided over Sowore’s intervention and the broader debate on justice, due process, and public perception of detention cases.
As the situation develops, attention remains on the legal proceedings and whether any external efforts will influence the outcome of BLord’s case.
