Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has given Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes a new nickname following his impressive performance against Aston Villa over the weekend.
Fernandes provided two assists as Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 3-1 at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international midfielder now has 16 assists for United this season.
Speaking about Fernandes, Henry described the 31 year old as “Braino Fernandes,” insisting that the midfielder thinks faster than others on the pitch.
The Frenchman said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, “If you can control the speed of your brain, you are going to be faster than anyone on the field, and this is what Fernandes has in abundance.
“Even when he wins, he demands excellence from himself and his teammates.
“My name for him now is Braino Fernandes because he thinks on the pitch and I love it.”
