How we protect accounts and payments, and what stays on your device versus what goes to a partner service.
Keeping files on your device
Most Fundpeeps tools run entirely inside your browser. Files you convert or edit with a tool labelled "Runs in your browser" are not uploaded to us: they are read, processed and downloaded again on your own device, so there is no copy of them on our servers.
Tools that use a partner service
A few tools cannot work on your device alone. Those are labelled "Uses a partner service" or "Mostly in your browser", and the Privacy Policy explains who receives what. For these tools, avoid submitting anything you would not want a third-party service to process.
Encrypted connections
The site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and our servers.
Accounts
Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, never in readable form. Sign-up and sign-in attempts are rate-limited to make guessing passwords harder. New email/password accounts must confirm their email address. You can also sign in with Google instead of creating a password.
Payments
Payments are processed by Flutterwave, so your card or bank details are entered on Flutterwave's page and are never seen or stored by us. Credits and plans are applied only after a payment is confirmed.
Third-party code
Some tools use well-established open-source libraries delivered from reputable content networks. We aim to keep them up to date to benefit from upstream security fixes.
Anonymous messages
An inbox is private to its owner. Senders are anonymous to the recipient: we show nothing about who sent a message. To stop abuse we limit how many messages one sender can send, reject links and contact details, hold messages with harmful words for review, and keep only a scrambled form of the sender's IP address. Recipients can delete, report and block, or pause their inbox.
Messages you send us
Contact-form messages are sent to us by email and are not saved on the website.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, please tell us at admin@fundpeeps.com before sharing it publicly, so we can investigate and fix it.
No guarantee
No website or online service can guarantee absolute security. We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the Service, but you use it with that understanding.
