North Central Supporters of Peter Obi Vow to Respond to Future Attacks

According to reports, armed assailants invaded the ADC secretariat and later trailed Obi’s convoy to Chief Odigie-Oyegun’s residence, where they opened gunfire, damaging vehicles and property.

The Obidient Movement condemned the attack, describing it as a premeditated assassination attempt. Dr. Tanko Yunusa, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement has also earlier, stated that the attack was not an isolated incident but part of a wider pattern of intimidation and violence against opposition leaders.

The movement has also demanded an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation into the attack, calling for the perpetrators and their sponsors to be identified, arrested, and prosecuted. They also urged the President of Nigeria to publicly condemn the attack and direct his party members to cease all acts of political violence and intimidation.

The ADC has also condemned the attack, pledging to remain steadfast in their pursuit of democracy and freedom. The party described the incident as a grave and disturbing development, emphasizing that violence and intimidation are threats to Nigeria’s democracy across the country.

In conclusion, as the Obidient Movement warns of equal force against any attacks on Peter Obi and will not be treated silence after a violent assault in Benin City, demanding justice and government protection, and however, as the situation continues to unfold all eyes will be closely watch to see the next line of action due to the severe sounding of the warning.
